Who'da thought a career in ID would get you to the White House? Yesterday's National Design Awards, held at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, honored 10 designers and architects including Jonathan Ives and even Adobe (as in Photoshop). The awards were sponsored by the Cooper-Hewitt and you can read about it here.
