Vintage Camera Ads and Posters

Here is a piece of some extremely vintage and awesome posters. We believe that those cameras were the best because nothing can replace good old lenses. Though we live in a world of digital technologies there is place for old but really wonderful devices like these. Hopefully you’ll be inspired by our small collection and maybe even go to your attic and find that elegant Kodak or Leica…

This is really great! My great grandfather had a huge collection and I have seen some of these cameras. Sad no one wanted, I believe they were tossed.
The advertising reflects so much of the culture of the eras, and how industry lured folks to adopt new technology.

The Polaroid advert with the kid and the clowns is quite a scary one.

  3. Ed Jeter says:

Nice. I’ve owned a few of those. Practica with 50mm f3.5 Tessar, Leica 111c with collapsible f2 50mm Summitar, Linhof Technica with Schneider lenses.

  4. Thomas says:

This makes my hart beat faster! :-) I still want to get my hands on a proper Leica film camera :D

  5. Jesse Ho says:

Ah, those were the good old days!
